Meet Smart Human-centred Effortless support for Professional clinical Applications (SHERPA) - a new IHI project that plans to use #AI to ease workloads and improve patient outcomes in interventional radiology, where highly-trained specialists use imaging technologies (such as x-ray or ultrasound) to guide miniature devices through a patient’s body and deliver the treatment where it is needed.  #IHITransformingHealth #HorizonEU

Nathalie Virag, Chair of the MedTech Europe Research and Innovation Committee, has started her mandate as Chair of the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) Governing Board, becoming the first representative from MedTech Europe to hold this position.   The IHI Governing Board, comprised of representatives from the European Commission and the IHI industry partners, is the main decision-making body of the IHI and is responsible for ensuring it achieves its objectives.

Drug development is never straightforward. Development of antimicrobial diagnostics and therapeutics is even less so with the multiplicity of constraints and restrictions that developers face.   The #COMBINE “Success stories in AMR R&D” webinar will provide an antidote to this by focusing on and celebrating AMR R&D successes. I am privileged to have been asked to share my SME experience of developing #non-traditional, #non-lethal #anti-biofilm agents at 15:45 (CET) on 5 March 2025, alongside Douglas Huseby, Lorenzo Corsini , and Frederik Deroose.    Join us from 3pm- 4pm on 5 March to be inspired by these success stories.
