It is with profound sadness that the ParadigMS Foundation receives the news of the passing of Prof. Dr. Giancarlo Comi, a luminary in the field of neurology and a steadfast advocate for multiple sclerosis (MS) research and patient care. In June 2022, Prof. Comi delivered a keynote address on the MS Care Unit during the Seventh Belgian ParadigMS Symposium. His presentation offered invaluable insights into the complexities of MS management and remains a powerful testament to his dedication to advancing MS care and education. Beyond his professional achievements, Prof. Comi was a mentor, professor, and visionary who touched the lives of those fortunate enough to work alongside him. His boundless energy, curiosity, and compassion enriched the global neurology community and the countless patients who benefited from his care and dedication. The loss of Prof. Comi is deeply felt by all who knew him. His enduring legacy will continue to guide and inspire generations to come. On behalf of the ParadigMS Foundation, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues, and friends.
