I am proud to share the publication of the book “Shared Mobility Revolution – Pioneering Autonomous Horizons” within the series Lecture Notes in Mobility by Springer Nature as a culmination of a journey I began back in June 2020 when I started coordinating the SHOW project at UITP - right in the midst of COVID-19. With 70 partners and over 450 people involved, I knew the project would be challenging, but I didn’t expect to forge such strong connections with researchers and mobility practitioners across Europe - and beyond. The lessons I learned during this time are invaluable. One of the greatest joys was collaborating with someone very special: Dr. Maria Gkemou. Her charisma and deep expertise in the field impressed me from the start, and working closely together was both inspiring and productive. Co-editing this book with her was important to me - not just as a wrap-up of our work on SHOW, but as a testament to the respect and admiration I hold for her. I truly hope we’ll collaborate again in the future! I hope this book will offer practitioners and researchers valuable insights, demonstrating how technical innovations and sustainability can go hand in hand to shape the future of mobility. The #SHOWDashboard stands as a powerful legacy of the SHOW project, providing a centralized view of all pilot sites through real-time performance monitoring and key KPIs 🚀 This advanced platform aggregates essential data—real-time GPS, vehicle sensors, traffic flows, occupancy, and more—while interfacing with AV sensors, AV supervising systems, infrastructure, PTOs, and third-party traffic systems across sites. Leveraging 5G technology, the Dashboard supports diverse functions like condition monitoring and remote control, making it a valuable asset for smarter, more connected urban mobility. This milestone represents a unique achievement in the European transport domain, pushing forward data integration and setting new standards in smart mobility. The SHOW Project is officially finalised!   A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in the final event in Tampere, Finland last week.
