Financial Controller

For this leading company active in the logistics industry, we are actively looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner.

A leading player, the company has expanded its activities in recent years. This position has therefore been opened to strengthen the finance department, with the objective of bridging the gap between field operations and the management team.

This job is based in Mouscron. Regular trips to other locations in Belgium are expected.

Finance Business Partner – The Role

In this role, you will be in direct contact with local management teams, which you support in the monitoring and development of their activities.

The role includes but it is not restricted to:

• Track the performance of the various sites, support local teams in creating ad-hoc analytical reports
• Ensure the accuracy of financial reports, establish budgets, forecasts and track variances.
• Challenge and streamline business processes, make suggestions for future improvements

Your input will help local and regional management teams to keep a close eye on the current figures as well as to further improve the teams’ efficiency.

Finance Business Partner – About You

• You have obtained a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in a finance-related field (accounting, management sciences, economics..)
• Previous experience of at least 5 years in a similar role is required, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment
• You are fluent in English and Dutch, French is an asset
• You are curious, enjoy human contact and you are not afraid to make your opinion heard
