Key Responsibilities

We are looking foran experienced Compensation and Benefits Manager to lead and professionalizeour HR operations. This role involves optimizing personnel administration,managing payroll, and driving strategic compensation and benefits initiatives.You will also play a critical role in developing streamlined HR processes andpolicies and compliance with group policies. Native-level French or Dutch andfluent English are essential, along with at least 10 years of relevantexperience.

Personnel Administration:

  • Oversee the complete flow ofpersonnel administration, including managing time & absences, group &health insurance and company cars.
  • Professionalize and streamlinepersonnel administration processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance inemployee records.
  • Develop and communicate proceduresto all employees to guarantee efficient handling of administrative tasks.
  • Provide strategic advice on theselection of external partners to build strong partnerships and achievemutually beneficial outcomes.


Processand Policy Management:

  • Clarify, streamline, and updatepeople processes and policies, ensuring compliance with local regulations andcompany standards.
  • Offer guidance and training to thepeople team and other departments on implementing new and existing policies.
  • Advise management on social and taxissues, as well as the management of salary costs from a legal perspective,ensuring maximum utilization of public measures.


Payroll Management:

  • Manage the payroll process for the organization
  • Ensure & improve accurate andtimely payroll processing, including taxes, benefits, and deductions, whileresolving discrepancies.
  • Ensure efficient information flowwith the Finance department.
  • Coordinate and organize departmentactivities based on priorities, team competencies, and client needs, deliveringhigh-quality service within deadlines.


Compensation and BenefitsProjects:

  • Design, implement, and managecompensation and benefits programs that align with the company’s strategicgoals.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarkingto ensure competitive compensation packages.
  • Oversee annual compensation reviews,salary planning, and bonus administration.
  • Initiate and coordinate variouscompensation and benefits projects in collaboration with internal teams orexternal organizations to maintain a modern HR strategy.


Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Use advanced Excel skills to performin-depth data analysis related to compensation, benefits, and payroll.
  • Generate reports and provideinsights to support decision-making processes, ensuring data integrity andaccuracy in all HR systems.
  • Stay informed about developments inthe field to continuously enhance service delivery with up-to-date knowledge.


Leadership and Relationshipmanagement:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop yourteam, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring the departmentoperates smoothly.
  • Collaborate closely with otherdepartments to align compensation and benefits strategies with organizationalgoals.
  • Act as a key point of contact forinternal stakeholders on compensation and benefits matters.


Your Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of experience incompensation and benefits, payroll management, or a related HR field, with aproven track record of success.
  • Strong analytical andproblem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivottables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Exceptional attention to detail andaccuracy.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • A proven track record in projectmanagement.
  • Native-level fluency in French orDutch, with fluent English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Belgian labour law and regulations.
  • Experience in managing anddeveloping a team is essential.
