PMO Officer (PMO)

Supports the project management office (PMO) with resource management, capacity and cost planning, prioritization and reporting activities.

Nature of the tasks

• Support preparation and implementation of portfolio roadmaps, manage new demand

• Identify risks and issues, dependencies and road blockers.

• Collect and handle data linked to the different aspects of the portfolios: planning, budgets, costs, resources, risks and prepare regular reports (status, escalation, re-forecasts)

• Develop global and portfolio forecast and capacity plans.

• Manage resource planning.

• Training and coaching, ensure all PMO stakeholders are aware and can make good use of project and/or program management processes, practices and tooling.

• Manage PMO communications streams.

• Host and manage meetings, take notes, share minutes and follow-up on actions.

• Contribute to continuous improvement.

Knowledge and skills

• Resource and capacity planning techniques.

• Experience in supporting a PMO and providing guidance and assistance to project managers and project team.
