Project management officer

Nexeo is currently looking for a Project Management Officer to support a large-scale transformation program for one of the leading banks in Belgium.

As a Project Management Officer at Nexeo, your responsibilities will include:

• Program Support: Collaborate with the Program Manager to ensure smooth execution of the transformation program by:
• Preparing and documenting meetings.
• Facilitating governance processes.
• Following up on action points and decision-making processes.
• Aligning stakeholders and ensuring effective communication.
• Tracking progress on planning and achieving key milestones.
• Consolidating progress reports and preparing stakeholder presentations.
• Topic Leadership: Take charge of specific program topics by:
• Conducting in-depth content analysis and solution exploration.
• Producing deliverables such as problem statements, solution analysis, and recommendations.

What are we expecting?

• Language Skills:
• Proficiency in Dutch and French for business communication.
• Strong oral and written English skills.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in project management or PMO roles, ideally within large transformation projects.
• Technical Expertise:
• Advanced skills in MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams).
• Experience with business analysis techniques.
• Business Expertise:
• Essential: Background in banking.
• Preferred: Experience in client servicing or back-office operations.
• Soft Skills:
• Hands-on and proactive approach.
• Structured with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communicator, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused.
• Independent and goal-driven problem solver.
