Senior GL Accountant

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to yearly and monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Work closely with team members to assist with the year and month-end close
• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
• Research and analyze expense variances for company management

Qualifications

• 5+ years' of professional accounting experience
• Experience with SAP (Blackline is a bonus also)
• Experience with IFRS (15/16/9)

• 60% Remote - 2 days on site in Brussels

• English speaking (French and Dutch is a plus)
