Lisa Horne is the mom behind the Food Allergy P.I. blog. She also hosts the Food Allergy Talk podcast and is the author of The Everything Nut Allergy Cookbook. She lives in rural southeastern Arizona with her husband and five children, all of whom she homeschools through high school. Her oldest child is anaphylactic and allergic to peanuts, pecans, garlic, and shellfish. Her second-oldest has a dairy intolerance, and her youngest daughter is gluten intolerant. Lisa has a Bachelor of Science degree in business marketing. She is a certified holistic nutritionist and is working on a certification with an emphasis on autoimmunity. She currently works as director of marketing for the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Connection Team (FAACT), managing the organization’s social media marketing and outreach.
