AI in Fashion: Last week in my newsletter, I explored Mango’s latest AI-driven campaign—a move that’s sparking plenty of interest (and debate) across the fashion and tech spaces. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out here: https://lnkd.in/gGDnKC6r It’s a fascinating case study, showing how brands are experimenting with AI-generated models in an industry that has traditionally thrived on human connection. Here are a few questions that keep coming up: 1. Can audiences tell the difference, and does it matter? AI’s potential to produce near-photorealistic models could make it a viable substitute for traditional shoots. But how do these AI faces affect engagement? Will audiences notice—or mind—if the model isn’t real? 2. Is AI a cost-effective choice yet? While the AI approach saves travel and logistics costs, achieving a polished look still requires significant post-production. The tech may not be a $5 shortcut (yet), but if the AI model can boost efficiency, it’s a tempting option for brands looking to keep pace with fast content cycles. 3. What happens to the human element? Even the best AI still struggles with that intangible “spark” that real models bring. For some, AI-driven imagery feels flat or even unsettling. Will brands need to find a balance between AI efficiency and the authenticity that resonates with audiences? 4. What does this mean for freelancers and creatives? With AI becoming more accessible, there are real concerns about the future of creative roles in fashion. How will models, photographers, and stylists adapt in a world where AI can handle some aspects of their work? Will they find new opportunities in hybrid AI-human projects? It’s clear that AI is reshaping creative industries in unprecedented ways. But is it a win for innovation, or a loss for creative authenticity? Mango’s experiment brings both opportunities and challenges, pushing the industry to reimagine what’s possible—and what’s at stake. What’s your take? Do you think AI in fashion is a step forward, or does it miss the mark? Would you notice (or care) if your favorite brands used AI models? Subscribe to my newsletter here -> https://lnkd.in/ganmUCuq

Embedding simple tools on your website isn't just a strategy; it's an investment in long-term growth. Whether you're enhancing user experience or boosting SEO, these tools can make a big impact with minimal upfront effort.
Building and embedding tools on your website isn't just about offering value to your visitors—it's a powerful way to drive organic growth. I recently did an SEO audit and was surprised to discover that a simple calculator tool I added years ago (a PayPal Fee Calculator) had earned me 86 inbound links. Back then, creating this tool required hiring a developer, but today, it's easier than ever to build and integrate similar tools thanks to advancements in no-code platforms and AI like ChatGPT. These tools not only enhance user experience but also naturally attract backlinks, boosting your site's authority and visibility. If you're looking to create long-lasting assets that continuously deliver value, consider building something simple yet useful for your audience. The long-term benefits, from improved SEO to increased engagement, are well worth the investment.

🗣️ Dominate Your Niche with a 'Reply Guy' Word-of-mouth marketing has always been the most consistent strategy for client acquisition, outperforming paid advertising by more than five times in sales generation. Now, with the latest advancements in AI, this powerful form of marketing is evolving, as you can create your own 'Reply Guy' that generates over 5,000 comments about your project each month on auto-pilot, spreading the word and boosting your reach. Why Does it Work? 1/ Precision Targeting: AI analyzes vast amounts of conversations to identify key posts within your niche. This precision makes it more likely to share positive word-of-mouth, maximizing impact and reach. You can target your ideal personas and then blacklist certain keywords that are irrelevant to your business. 2/ Personalization at Scale: AI personalizes interactions on each post. This personalization makes word-of-mouth recommendations more relevant, increasing the likelihood of engagement and sharing. 3/ Automated Engagement: AI tools automate engaging with people consistently in the right channels, nurturing relationships into trusting your project. This continuous engagement helps keep the brand top-of-mind, enabling more organic word-of-mouth promotion that could turn into potential backlinks. 🔗 Get the Full Trend Report by Clicking the Link in My Bio

🥶 Secure Newsletter Sponsors with Cold Emails Dan provides tips for finding leads, outreach, and writing effective cold emails for sponsors. (Taken from his experience selling $4M+ newsletter sponsorships.) 1/ Finding Leads: Identify sponsors by subscribing to relevant newsletters, data providers like WhoSponsorsStuff and tracking funding announcements from sources like Tech Crunch. 2/ Effective Subject Lines: Keep subject lines concise with 2-3 words to increase open rates. Avoid overused tactics like personalized subject lines, which may come off as salesy. 3/ Thoughts: I’ve never really focused on outbound lead generation. However, it’s a good way to initiate relationships with potential advertisers if you do it correctly. 🔗 Secure Newsletter Sponsors With Cold Emails by Clicking the Link in My Bio
