Today, the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Official Languages, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, introduced the members of the new Women Veterans Council including one of our members Eleanor Taylor.   This Council, built by women Veterans for women Veterans, is composed of twelve women of diverse ranks, backgrounds, perspectives, and lived experiences to ensure that a broad range of voices are represented at the table. At ADGA Group, we are proud that over 20% of our workforce comprises veterans who bring their dedication and experience to our work every day. We honour them and their families. Once again, Daniel Bergeron, PMP, LPM, CD and Bill Gorham represented ADGA Group during the Remembrance Day ceremony held at CFB Kingston. Caroline-Anne Juszczakiewicz-Tylko (She/Her/Elle) lay a wreath at the national ceremony held at the National War Memorial in Ottawa. Other members lay wreaths at Veterans' House Canada, at Perley Health, and at special ceremonies in other communities. Remembrance Day serves as a solemn reminder of the countless contributions and enduring impact of our armed forces throughout history—from world wars to peacekeeping missions and ongoing service. We reflect on their bravery, mourn those who gave their lives for our freedom, and express our deepest gratitude. Honouring Indigenous Veterans Day, ADGA Group recognizes the invaluable contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis veterans who have courageously served Canada in times of war, conflict, and peace. Their bravery and sacrifices have shaped our country’s history and continue to strengthen who we have become as a nation. We are committed to deepening our understanding and respect for Indigenous Peoples' diverse contributions to Canada’s defence and security. Today, and every day, we pay tribute to Indigenous veterans and their families, honouring their resilience and dedication. Today, members from ADGA Group laid a wreath at a Wreath Laying Ceremony held at the National Aboriginal Veterans Monument in Confederation Park in Ottawa. The location of the ceremony was on the traditional and unceded territory of the Algonquins of Pikwàkanagàn First Nation.
