In early January, we had the pleasure of working with URUS Group and our sister companies to host 19 passionate college students for the URUS Dairy Consulting Experience in Madison, WI. It was a week full of networking, collaboration, and learning from real-world dairy industry experts!

In November, we hosted an Alta Dairy Manager School in Garden City, Kansas in partnership with faculty from Kansas State University. During this 2.5-day training, attendees had the unique opportunity to learn from dairy industry and academic experts through a mix of classroom sessions and on-farm learning. The limited class size fostered interactive learning and drove the discussion around topics like maternity management, transition management, reproduction, milking metrics, professional development and more. Thanks to all of our attendees for their participation and Kansas State University for collaborating with us on this project!

Another AltaU session was recently held in Madison, WI with participants from Australia, Canada, Estonia, Germany, Mexico, South Africa, Taiwan, and Ukraine. During the intensive 5-day course, this group of dairy owners and managers participated in interactive learning experiences lead by highly regarded university experts and dairy industry leaders.
