Our REEF team has been busy turning our plans into progress.     ☑️ Piles placed  ☑️Blasting is underway   ☑️Began overburden removal    Once built, the REEF project will be our third export facility located on the West Coast of North America – helping to bring #CanadianEnergy to key customers in Asia.    This project is currently on budget and on schedule and is expected to be operational by the end of 2026.     For more about the project: https://lnkd.in/gR_SY_mP Vopak

Our Midstream team has been busy progressing great work on some key projects lately. At REEF, our project team has been advancing construction on our jetty, RRUC (rail, road, and utility corridor), and uplands work. On our Pipestone II project, all earthworks are complete, and piling and concrete work is progressing well. The gas gathering system is nearly complete, and the project remains on track for a year-end 2025 in-service date. Thanks to those on the ground and in the office for making this all happen!

In case you missed it: This morning we shared our Q3 results.     ️️✅️ 17 per cent increase in normalized EBITDA, year over year.    ✅️ Record global export volumes representing 9 per cent growth, year over year.     ✅ Successfully filed our pipeline modernization program (ARP) and a new case rate in D.C. Propane: the power behind the flame.  Today is National Propane Day – a day that recognizes a form of energy that is both reliable and affordable. Propane plays a critical role in the global energy mix and Ridley Island Propane Export Terminal (RIPET) is at the forefront of meeting the world’s demand for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).  As Canada’s first propane export facility, RIPET is a direct access to the Asian markets and is uniquely positioned to flex to global needs.  Did you know? Welcome to Harmattan!      Did you know? The Harmattan Gas Processing Complex is one of the largest gas plants in #Alberta – proudly owned and operated by our team in #Sundre for 16 years.     At Harmattan, we transform natural gas liquids (NGLs) from their raw form by separating, extracting, and using fractionation to convert the resource into products like ethane, propane, butane and condensate.     This facility has the capacity to process 490 million cubic feet of gas daily, helping to store and transport the energy needed across #NorthAmerica in service of over 70 different producers.  

Building strong communities is fundamental to what we do. Supporting local initiatives and organizations like the Fort St. John Literacy Society is one of ways we can play a small role in community prosperity. News of Canadian rail stoppages has already had significant repercussions beyond our borders.    As a global energy trader, we have proactive contingency plans in place to mitigate and manage the disruption.       We remain optimistic that a resolution will soon end this stoppage, enabling the thousands affected to resume delivering critical resources for our economy and to our communities. 

When community and collaboration meet, it creates opportunity at home and abroad.     The Ridley Island Energy Export Facility (REEF) is a critical project that will connect Canadian liquified petroleum gas (LPG) to global markets and drive valuable outcomes for our customers.    The REEF project is the result of years of collaboration with Indigenous and local communities, alongside federal and provincial regulators, positioning Canada as an energy trading partner on the global stage.   This joint venture project with our partners at Vopak is planned to be developed and brought online in phases and is expected to come online in late 2026.   Follow along for REEF related updates here: https://lnkd.in/gnD82bzV
