Happy anniversary to the fully electric Marilyn Bell ferry! ⛴️ On December 15, 2021, the retrofitted vessel returned to service at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport to become the first zero-emission ferry in Canada to be powered entirely through renewable electricity through our partnership with Bullfrog Power.⚡ Since then, the Marilyn Bell has reduced annual CO2 emissions at the airport by approximately 530 tonnes.
