Here's a behind-the-scenes look at the key players who make it happen: ❤️ The Participants: The heart of every clinical trial. Without the generosity of volunteers, advancing medical research wouldn't be possible. 🧑🔬 Principal Investigators (PI): PIs oversee the trial across all locations, making sure everything stays on track. 🤝 Clinical Research Coordinators (CRC): These are the go-to people for participants, guiding them through the process and ensuring the study is conducted according to the protocol. 🩺 The Support Team: This team includes, but may not be limited to, physician assistants, dentists, physiotherapists, nurses, pharmacists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals. Together, they provide the care and expertise that keep the trial running smoothly. 💼 The Sponsor: Whether it's a person, company, or organization, sponsors kick-start and manage the trial, often handling funding and regulatory approval. ✅ Research Ethics Boards (REB): An independent group, the REB reviews the trial's ethical considerations to protect participant rights and well-being, ensuring the study adheres to ethical standards.
