Soma Kim (known by her stage name AREXIBO), is a South Korean music artist who aims to hypnotize her audiences by dragging byproducts of technology into the spotlight. Soma’s fine art background is a key component to her flawless curation of spatial design and sound. Through her visual-heavy club environments, she creates an organic system that blurs the lines between reality and the digital. Soma is most comfortable without labels, as she defines a boundary-breaking era of music that deconstructs its past: “A lot of things in music have been fragmented, broken, inflated, or splintered. Sounds are ripped apart into units that cannot be played by human hands. Marta Mattioli is a Bucharest-based artist whose work dissects our collective closeness to technology and nature. Her first solo show, "Metallic Taste of Patience," presented both digital and physical sculptures — a series of shiny vignettes reflecting the human condition. Marta’s work explores the intersection of mankind, technology, and digital culture through a dissonant blend of biological and synthetic motifs. She conducts a narrative of cosmic unity through her choice of material and subject matter. “Metal has always captivated me… Being integral to our daily lives, used in the fabrication of devices, machines, and various elements that support our infrastructure. This AI short movie by 9DEN and Christian Kondic delves into the complexities of human relationships and the conflicts that shape us, portraying both positive and negative varieties of formative violence. "Adam, Maximalism" pushes sound and emotion to new extremes, paying testament to 9DEN's relentless experimentation and innovative spirit. This project features contributions from artists like Jen Jen, Deepho, Keith Blonde, and more, with remixes by Juck, ELEONORA, and Ceri. Ginevra Petrozzi, an artist in residence at the Jan van Eyck Academy and self-proclaimed "digital witch," has been researching the laws of the magic world and what brings an object to become invested with magical powers. Through this process, she has been experimenting with the making of talismans, amulets, and ex-votos for the contemporary tech-dominated realm, burning ancient protective symbols into screens via pixel deterioration. "The technological systems we inhabit have already integrated a type of magical thinking into their functioning. I simply try to unlock that potential, to give back agency to users and invite them to take back control over their digitally suggested future."
