Absolutely THRILLED(‼️) to share that Digital Journal Group (DJG) has been shortlisted for an Elevation Award from B2B Marketing for the best use of B2B thought leadership in the United States. The awards "represent the best of the best in US B2B marketing" and judges for this program are senior American and global marketing leaders at companies like CGI, Intel, Salesforce, Tata Consultancy Services, GE, KPMG, Nestle and more. The thought leadership award we have been shortlisted for is in recognition for the ACCELERATE program we built with Sarah Coleman and Computer Modelling Group. We built an editorial publication from scratch, led multiple roundtables with large global brands, deployed teams who did live event coverage from multiple cities in the U.S., and landed media syndication in less than one year. ACCELERATE is one of the highest-impact content marketing programs I've ever had the opportunity to be part of building. Calling a blitz in football gives a distinct advantage. There's a business story here, so hang in there with me for a minute. In football, if a defensive line can anticipate the play or direction of a run, they can dial up a blitz that puts several defenders to the point of attack in a hurry. That move can force the game in their favour. Similarly, running a thought leadership blitz is a strong defence against competitors who have bigger budgets, technology headwinds, or in industries where there are shifting customer preferences. It’s been a year and a half since the public release of ChatGPT, and in that time it’s become very clear that artificial intelligence (AI) has totally transformed the marketing function. It’s also left many marketers wondering if they will lose their jobs to AI.
