Business, Careers, Aviation, (and more) Educators can participate in FREE gamification of learning. E.g. Aviation students can learn about what it means to work in Air Traffic Services, Careers students can explore next steps in their interests and how to pursue their career of interest, Business students are now part of the gamification of doing taxes, Trades are learning about pathways in Manufacuturing. Please feel free to contact me if you have more questions about industry or educator alignment. Educator Why? Be the facilitator. Content is free and made for your students to navigate. You don't need to be the expert on every career and post-secondary institution in North America - the "game" directs students to real-world, government, approved websites to help them, you track the results and students who enter the competitions win prizes. The more they learn the more points they get. Student Why? Students like GAMIFIED approaches, competition challenges, earning prizes, REAL world websites beyond earning marks, they are developing career skills for ever changing job markets. Industry Partner Why? Students interested in your sector can join your module to learn more. For example, "Money Management" by Financial Consumer Agency of Canada, or "Air Traffic Services" by NAV CANADA. Thank you ChatterHigh for making learning accessible to students and educators. Award Canada - student participants can use the Award framework to develop a new "Skill." For example, career research with understanding how to navigate Careers, Business, and Financial Literacy are all very important steps for student voice to choose what their skill might be. Below is an example of the Financial Literacy free module, but website has more resources with options to customize https://lnkd.in/dNZkmmMz

It was a privilege to recently celebrate the remarkable achievements of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Canada Gold Recipients, whose dedication and resilience shine as examples for us all. This ceremony held in Ottawa, highlighted the incredible potential of young leaders in Canada, and I am inspired by each recipient's commitment to making a difference. Additionally as part of Award Awareness week, I had the opportunity to connect and network with some of Award Canada's most influential supporters and donors. Special moments were shared with many distinguished guests, including Martin Houghton-Brown, and former Governor General David Johnston, whose passion for youth empowerment and education continues to inspire. I also look forward to the work that Laura Briscoe and Mark Little are doing to build partnerships and lay the ground work for the Award's Co-Curricular Strategy, expanding opportunities for young people nationwide. #DukeofEdinburgh #YouthLeadership #Networking
