Since 2016, we've supported over 1,000 women and gender-diverse individuals across Canada, providing over 350,900 essential items to those facing barriers, discrimination, violence, and poverty. We believe that women have the power to change the world for good — but the need to advance women’s rights and opportunities has never been more critical. As we approach the holiday season, this work remains as urgent as ever. That’s why, we’re providing care and connection with our Holiday Care Kits, filled with essentials and comforting resources for women and gender-diverse folks in our community, regardless of their circumstances. Each package contains new candles, bath soaps, Lucky Iron Life, Louve design, baby items, socks, Anima Mundi Herbals teas, underwear, menstrual items like DIVA, New Moon Cookies, and toiletries. Since 2016, our grassroots nonprofit has served hundreds of women and gender-diverse people from underserved communities across Canada. Through services, programs, and initiatives—offered both virtually and in person—we empower, restore, and protect rights. This holiday season, as we Empower Women, Elevate Communities, we want to showcase a profound outcome of investing in women, through the story of one community member who was supported by our programs. Hear directly from Sarah in her own words. We have provided 5 cohorts of the Change Make-Her program, supporting over 120 equity-deserving women and gender-diverse individuals who are working to grow their businesses and independent ventures for financial independence and stability. Despite facing systemic and interpersonal barriers to rights, resources, training, and support, women are key drivers of economic growth, social prosperity, and sustainability.
