Meet Kevin Pierson, another member of our Hartmann North America Sales Team! Kevin is based out of Phoenix, Arizona, and has been with our team for 4 years but has been in the egg industry for over 30! He brings a wealth of egg production knowledge that helps us better understand how to best serve our customers.
👇 A few fun facts about Kevin:
☀ Living just outside Phoenix, Kevin loves attending baseball spring training games with his wife, Nancy, golfing almost year-round, and spending time with his family.
🏎 To say Kevin loves NASCAR may be an understatement! He grew up going to the track with his dad where he was a part of the pit crew for NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Hershel McGriff. Kevin had the chance to attend the NASCAR Hall of Fame Induction ceremony and dinner in 2023 for Hershel where he bumped into his wife Nancy’s favorite driver Dale Jarrett, among others like Jeff Gordon and Richard Petty. Kevin was also a member of the Wes Rhodes Racing pit crew in the northwest for 20+ years, where they traveled as far as Montana and Arizona to race, highlighted by the 2008 ARCA West Championship win.
✈ Kevin served in the Air Force as an Aircraft ground equipment (AGE) mechanic with tours in the US as well as 2 years in Japan. In Japan, Kevin was credited with saving the maintenance shop from a major accident as a piece of equipment he was servicing malfunctioned. Thinking quickly, he moved it to an open area where it exploded seconds after he was clear. Kevin was rewarded with a medal and a ride in an F-16 fighter jet.
👇 What Kevin loves about working for Hartmann:
“I really appreciate the comradery and team-centric environment we have at Hartmann. Our entire staff from customer service to plant personnel are all willing to help colleagues whenever the need arises. I really enjoy working closely with my customers and using my 30+ years of egg industry experience to assist them in working through any challenges they may encounter.”
🍳 His favorite way to enjoy an egg: “When it comes to eggs, I’m pretty simple. I like them over easy and served with bacon and toast. Of course, they must be over-easy so I can dunk my toast in the yoke!”
