Jasmine Shory, Jordan Lantz, & Andy Hayher KC were successful in thwarting multiple permission to appeal applications at the Alberta Court of Appeal earlier this month. In Esfahani v Samimi, 2024 ABCA 387, Justice Woolley dismissed multiple permission to appeal applications. She held that the applicant had not satisfied the test for permission to appeal.
