Remembrance Day is marked in Canada every year on November 11. It is a day of national commemoration for the more than 118,000 Canadians who have lost their lives in military service. Every year on November 11 at 11am, we observe a moment of silence to honour the courage, valour and sacrifice of the heroes who have served – and continue to serve – Canada during times of war and conflict.
