The report : ‘Women’s health economics: investing in the 51%’ will change lives. Findings include that every £1 invested in women's health gains an £11 return. Action items call for more research funding from NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research) into the gender health gap. Congrats Bridget Gorham and Olivia Langham for this groundbreaking work. It was an honour to be at the House of Lords amongst so many change makers advancing gender health equity. Fantastic to see patient voices used as evidence and proud that Medical Herstory could help recruit for focus groups and to ensure that gender diverse experiences were acknowledged. This report cements that our stories matter and can no longer be ignored.
