Montreal ACM SIGGRAPH and Autodesk are very pleased to invite you to the eighth edition of CG Spotlight! Join us for an evening of presentations and networking with the Montreal multimedia community! CG Spotlight's goals are to bring the members of the Computer Graphics community together, to promote the exchange of knowledge between the Montreal industry and the academic scene and offer them opportunities for connecting and networking. During this eighth edition, we will present the following talks (all talks will be given in English): - DNEG Animation - Guillaume Chartier, Cartoony Animation Through Technology - École nationale de cirque (National Circus School) - Chris Gatti, Digital technologies in circus - Cinesite - Alex Parkinson, HITPIG! Exciting news! Montreal ACM SIGGRAPH is organizing an event on the intersection of Computer Graphics and Machine learning on April 2nd. We're looking for 1 extra presentation to complete our line-up and thought that maybe *you* would have something great to suggest! If you've been working on a Computer Graphics project that involves the use of Machine Learning and you'd like to share it with the Montreal CG community, we'd love to hear from you! Talk Details: - Date: April 2nd - Time: 6:30pm - Length of the talk: 20 minutes + 10 minutes Q&A - Language: English preferred - Venue: TBA (Close to metro Bonaventure) If you have a talk idea in mind, simply share your interest with a summary of the presentation you would like to do at our email address written in the image below (montreal-chapter@...).
