We are incredibly honoured to receive the new Extraordinary Service Award from Electricity Canada. In June, when our employees and their families had to evacuate their homes in Churchill Falls and abandon the hydro plant because of a wildfire, more than 600 people took to the road not knowing what the days ahead would bring. We are so proud of the Churchill Falls team and everyone involved for their resilience, bravery and commitment.

Need hope for the future? You need not look further than the talented young adults in our midst. These folks have fire inside- it's up to the rest of us to keep that lit so that they can carry us for decades to come. I am very grateful Hydro has such talented people each semester. They produce important work and make us better every semester!
