OVA is proud to announce a new contract worth over $1M with the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and Engineering (CFSATE), a key training establishment for Aerospace Engineering Officers and Aircraft Technicians in the Royal Canadian Air Force | Aviation royale canadienne (#RCAF). This project is expected to enable faster learning curves, improved retention rates, and higher proficiency, thereby enhancing technical training capabilities. ✅ Under this project, we will use our AI-enabled VR software, StellarX, to develop immersive training scenarios for Air Maintenance Technicians and Aerospace Engineering Officers working with the CT155 Hawk ground training aircraft. With StellarX, CFSATE will gain access to: ➡ Realistic, AI-powered interactive training environments that simulate aircraft operation, maintenance, and exploration ➡ A digital twin of the CT155 Hawk MK115 Rolls-Royce Turbomeca Adour Mk. 871 Turbofan Engine, designed by our expert 3D artists ➡ Immersive scenarios that safely simulate complex and hazardous tasks, bridging the gap between theory and practice Our partnership marks a step in advancing training modernization for aerospace technicians, aligning with the RCAF’s strategy to enhance training quality, capacity, and safety through advanced technologies. OVA is headed to the World Expo in Japan! OVA was selected as a winner at the Keihanna Startup PoC Competition in Japan! This win sets the stage for an exciting new project: we’re partnering with the city of Keihanna (aka Kansai Science City) and ATR to bring our vision to life at next year’s Keihanna Expo—a part of the World Expo in Osaka! We shared a way to use StellarX to introduce a way to make urban planning collaborative, giving residents, businesses, and cities the tools to develop and refine plans together in AI-assisted VR. This approach aims to build public acceptance and reduce the delays that often plague city projects. Working closely with our partners, this project will be further refined and adapted to address the unique challenges in Keihanna and be showcased at the Keihanna Expo—and continue to support the city’s growth beyond the event. Located at the intersection of Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara, Keihanna is Japan’s leading R&D hub, driving advancements in AI, healthcare, and energy while fostering global collaboration and cultural exchange. The Keihanna Expo will be an incredible opportunity to showcase these innovations on the world stage!
