  • Happy Friday! As you wrap up the week, how many FM issues did you have in the last few days? Could they have been prevented? This photo shows just one of the FMs our in-field systems found and removed this week. Its a little piece of wood (about 1/8 inch by 1 inch) that didn't get to our customer's grinders or into finished product, thanks to their PPO Smart Imaging System. Could your current inspection methods have found this? If not - we can help!

  • Happy Entrepreneur's Day! Today, we celebrate the risk-takers and innovators who turn their dreams into reality. We especially want to celebrate the entrepreneurs who founded the meat processing industry. Many of today's meat processors started because of their founders' entrepreneurial spirits. They saw opportunities, took risks, and built empires. Their hard work and dedication have transformed the industry, providing jobs and sustenance for millions worldwide. We also want to celebrate our own CEO - Olga Pawluczuk. Olga and her dad founded PPO and developed the incredible technology behind our system. And Olga's vision and dedication to providing safer, healthier food inspires everyone at PPO every day. Let's take a moment to appreciate the contributions of all entrepreneurs, past and present. Their hard work, dedication, and vision inspire us all. They are proof that with passion and perseverance, anything is possible.

How can PPO inspect both sides of a product like whole muscle chicken breasts or larger pieces of pork and beef trim? Our Z-configuration system is the answer. It flips the product to ensure that our detector modules always see both sides. Learn more about it in our new System Walkaround video featuring Jamie Poholko, our Director of Customer Success. https://lnkd.in/gPPmmsuj

  • Every foreign materials detection technology has its strengths - and no single technology will find every type of foreign material that might show up on your production line. What kind of materials are you and your team concerned about? If you're upgrading or updating your inspection systems, or automating your manual inspection process, this chart may be helpful. It shows the results of a test conducted by a large meat processor. They tested three different technologies (X-ray, traditional 3-colour vision inspection, and hyperspectral imaging) on a variety of different types of FM. After seeing the results of their testing, they chose PPO for their plants.
