Ok we're back folks... it's fall conference season... starting with CAEH '24... It was a pleasure to attend and speak about Co-Creating the Right to Adquate Housing alongside the National Housing Council's John Harvey and Michèle Biss of the National Right to Housing Network at last week's Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness conference! Lots of great sessions... I especially enjoyed this presentation by the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness team on "Transforming Homelessness Systems" with a focus on using improvement science to use small experiments to build and test new tools, processes, roles, and relationships in the system. This panel started with a look at the evolution of the housing and homelessness system and covered collaborative approaches to community planning and governance. #housing4all

MHBC Planning and SHS Consulting were pleased to assist the City of Ottawa in the development of Ottawa’s Affordable Housing Community Improvement Plan (CIP). The Plan was recently approved by Ottawa City Council on April 17th.
