CNN called it one of the “10 architectural projects set to shape the world in 2024,” and who could disagree? We installed 573.34 kWdc / 499.00 kWac of solar power using 1057 x Canadian Solar Inc. 545W bifacial modules and 12 x SMA Solar Sunny Tripower Inverters - all racked using TerraGen Solar TGR racking. We LOVE to talk about solar panels (modules), but what about the racking that “holds” the panels to the roof (or ground)? High-quality, perfectly installed solar racking is crucial for any solar panel installation, and it plays a key role in both the performance and longevity of the solar energy system. Solar racking provides the structural support needed to securely mount panels and ensure they are installed at the ideal angle and orientation, maximizing exposure to sunlight and, therefore, the energy output.
