The Desjardins Speaker Series: 'Move Fast and Make Things - How to Manufacture a Global Entrepreneurial Mindset' was a tremendous success!🎉   The event brought together students, founders, and members of the entrepreneurial ecosystem to discuss the importance of manufacturing physical products in Canada. Our team was at the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers - GCEC Conference at Babson College last week, where we were recognized with the "Outstanding Contributions to Venture Creation" award and Highly Commended in the "Exceptional Activities in Entrepreneurship Across Disciplines"category. These awards recognize how we launch and accelerate university-affiliated startups via events, educational programming and awards, including True Blue Expo, Desjardins Startup Prize, RBC Momentum Grants, the IP Education Program, the university's 200+ courses, our robust U of T Startup Job Board, as well as various Black, Indigenous and female-focused programming.
