Volunteer Manitoba is deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of our colleague and dear friend, Alyson Shane. We had the pleasure of working with Alyson for many years, where she shared her knowledge of all things digital marketing through a variety of workshops, and was the recipient of the “Spark Outstanding Pro Bono Consultant Award” at the 2021 Annual Volunteer Awards. Her energy, creativity and kindness touched so many lives, and she will truly be missed. On behalf of the entire team at Volunteer Manitoba, we send heartfelt condolences to Alyson's family, friends, and the entire Starling Social team during this difficult time

Volunteer Manitoba's office will be closed today, Monday November 11th, in observance of Remembrance Day. On this day, we honour and remember the sacrifices made by those who served and continue to serve. We encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the courage, resilience and dedication of our veterans.
