An #eConsult study found that wait times for chronic pain care, even those triaged as urgent cases, far exceeded what patients considered ideal. Our very own Brynn O’Dwyer presented valuable insights at the The Ottawa Hospital #PatientSafety conference on Primary Care Senders and Patient Experiences with the Triaging Referrals to eConsult (TReC) initiative! TReC improves timely access to specialist care by allowing specialists to provide #eConsult advice as an alternative to in-person patient visits or to complement scheduled appointments - ulitmately enhancing patient care and health outcomes!
