The "Association Suisse de Droit du Sport" was founded in 1990. It is the leading sports law association in Switzerland and closely associated with the establishment of the Tribunal Arbitral du Sport (TAS, Court of Arbitration for Sport, CAS) in Lausanne. The activities of the ASDS are mainly aimed at lawyers who have a special interest in sports law and wish to keep abreast of current developments in this field.
