How it works: ✅ Groupe Beneteau manufactures boats using Arkema’s recyclable Elium® resin. ✅ Veolia collects the production scraps and delivers them to us for recycling. ✅ Composite Recycling uses our next-generation thermolysis technology to recover glass fibers and thermolysis oil. ✅ Arkema uses the oil to produce new Elium® resin. ✅ Owens Corning manufactures long fibers from the reclaimed fibers ✅ CHOMARAT Group weaves these long fibers into new glass fiber textile Groupe Beneteau then uses the new Elium® resin and fiberglass textile to make new boats - closing the loop! These results show the clear potential to make new composites from ski production scrap. 📷 A Look Behind the Scenes Since our machine delivery in December, at Composite Recycling we've had a lot of questions about our new industrial-scale recycling unit. Co-founders Guillaume Perben and Pascal Gallo (pictured here) were recently on-site for a special photo and video shoot 🎥 and meeting with key partners. So we're sharing here some snaps from that day, giving a closer look at the machine that Pascal and his team are gearing up now. This machine will ultimately process 2 tons of composite scrap per day at our Veolia site in Western France.
