We had the great pleasure to welcome more than 100 founders and investors on November 20 at our 2024 Founders' Evening in Lausanne Gotham Coworking. Thanks to all participants for giving life to the discussions. And a special thanks to our panelists for sharing their experience and advice so candidly. On the first panel, moderated by Federico Trabaldo Togna, Vincent Lefauconnier (Co-CEO at Neo Medical), Raffaele Magliocca (Principal at Gyrus Capital) and Marco Alessandrini (CTO at Antion Biosciences SA), discussed the challenges that life sciences companies face throughout their life cycle. On the second panel, moderated by Sevan Antreasyan, Franklin Servan-Schreiber (CEO at TRANSMUTEX) and Juan Mario Michan (CEO at Daphne Technology) shared their insight on how to build a cleantech company, outlining the importance of having the right investors onboard. Between the panels, Floran Ponce and Rébecca Dorasamy gave some insights on how to best structure an equity incentive plan from a legal and tax perspective. We hope to see you all next time!

🌟 National Future Day 2024 at Lenz & Staehelin – a day of discovery 🌟 Following previous successes, we were delighted to host another inspiring National Future Day at Lenz & Staehelin’s Zurich office on 14 November. It was a unique chance for the 12 young delegates who joined us to meet someone in our firm they already know and get a glimpse into the world of law. Highlights included: 🏢 A tour of our facilities 💼 A hands-on mock trial 🍽 Team-based activities and lunch with some L&S experts 📚 A library tour, quiz and presentation on the legal profession It was a day jam-packed with learning, fun and inspiration! Thank you to all participants for bringing along so much curiosity and energy. We hope they left with new, motivating insights into the legal world.

Près de 20 avocat(e)s et avocat(e)s stagiaires de Lenz & Staehelin ont eu le plaisir de participer à la dixième édition de l’initiative "Les avocats dans les écoles", organisée par l’Ordre des avocats de Genève en collaboration avec le Département de l'instruction publique, de la formation et de la jeunesse (DIP). Cette expérience offre l’opportunité aux avocats d’échanger avec les élèves de 9ème année sur leurs droits et devoirs légaux, de présenter le rôle des différents acteurs de la justice et de les accompagner dans la mise en scène d’un procès fictif.
