💔 “I don’t have a picture of my husband, father, or grandfather.” Three years of war have displaced millions. Yet, hope remains. 🕊️ ➡️ UNHCR delivers essential aid, but support is needed now more than ever.

📢 Since last December, more than 270,000 Syrians have returned home. Many arrived to damaged homes with limited services & opportunities. UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is on the ground, providing support & protection, but urgent funding is needed to scale up reintegration efforts.

"To protect the children from being affected, we gathered up as many belongings as we could and left. We hadn't even prepared properly and set off into the unknown." Viktoria's story is one of resilience and strength. Viktoria had to leave her home in Ukraine due to the conflict with her two children, leaving her husband behind. Despite the challenges, she has shown remarkable strength and determination. She found safety in Moldova, and stayed warm this winter thanks to UNHCR's assistance: heaters and cash to buy winter clothes for her sons. Invaluable time spent for our Executive Director Cristina Davies and the 9 national partners of UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency to exchange best practices on how to mobilize our civil societies to support people forced to flee globally. It was the opportunity to discuss our successes, and share ideas on supporting UNHCR’s life-saving mission in the best ways possible.   Collaborating together at this time is crucial to best respond to the changing humanitarian scene, to make sure the millions of displaced people around the world are protected.
