This summer, five of our eight local committees organized major events, and we warmly congratulate them on their success. These initiatives strengthen our mission to make Valais a true biking paradise and provide us with valuable insights to refine our sustainability strategy for next year. 🚴♀️ With a pragmatic approach, we aim to fully integrate public transportation into our mobility plan, serving visitors, volunteers, and VIP guests. 🚍 We’re aiming for at least 65% public transport usage, and the feedback has been key in helping us optimize our plan. By adopting a pragmatic approach, we are able to improve the visitor experience and elevate the standards of sports event by ensuring #accessibility. Having mobility difficulties shouldn't be a hindrance either in everyday life or in grandiose experiences such as world championships. 2024 events have been designed to accommodate and respect the needs of people with reduced mobility. The results are positive and will enable us to push further the exercice for next year, while giving us the resources to improve the accessible experience in the venues!
