Το Τμήμα Σύγχρονου Πολιτισμού του Υφυπουργείου Πολιτισμού και το CYENS Centre of Excellence σας προσκαλούν στο εργαστήριο «Εξερευνώντας τις Τεχνολογίες Εκτεταμένης Πραγματικότητας (XR) στον Χορό». Το εργαστήριο απευθύνεται σε επαγγελματίες και δημιουργούς του σύγχρονου και παραδοσιακού χορού που επιθυμούν να αξιοποιήσουν τις νέες τεχνολογίες για τη δημιουργία χορευτικού περιεχομένου στο σύγχρονο ψηφιακό περιβάλλον. Παράλληλα, στοχεύει στην εξοικείωση με καινοτόμα εκπαιδευτικά, επικοινωνιακά και ερευνητικά εργαλεία για την καταγραφή, ανάλυση, διάχυση και προβολή του χορού. Το εργαστήριο θα πραγματοποιηθεί την ⌛ Τετάρτη, 5 Μαρτίου 2025 από τις 10:30 π.μ. μέχρι τις 2:00 μ.μ. στο Κέντρο Αριστείας CYENS (Πλατεία Δημάρχου Λέλλου Δημητριάδη), στη Λευκωσία. Μετά το διάλειμμα, το εργαστήριο θα μεταφερθεί στο Θέατρο Πόλης (Virtual production studio), όπου θα πραγματοποιηθούν ζωντανές επιδείξεις. 👉 Δηλώσεις συμμετοχής γίνονται δεκτές έως την Τρίτη, 4 Μαρτίου 2025, στις 10:00 π.μ., μέσω του ακόλουθου συνδέσμου: https://lnkd.in/d7-yim_C. 💶 Το εργαστήριο προσφέρεται δωρεάν. Σκοπός του εργαστηρίου είναι η εισαγωγική γνωριμία των χορογράφων, χορευτών και άλλων ειδικών που δραστηριοποιούνται στον τομέα του χορού με τις σύγχρονες τεχνολογίες Εκτεταμένης Πραγματικότητας (Extended Reality - XR) και η διερεύνηση των δυνατοτήτων τους στο ευρύτερο πεδίο του χορού. Το εργαστήριο εστιάζει στην παρουσίαση σύγχρονων τεχνολογιών για την καταγραφή και αρχειοθέτηση της χορευτικής κίνησης, καθώς και στις προηγμένες μεθόδους ανάλυσης και μελέτης της κίνησης. Επιπλέον, διερευνά τις δυνατότητες αξιοποίησής τους στη δημιουργία εκπαιδευτικών εφαρμογών, στη διάχυση, προβολή και επικοινωνία του χορού, καθώς και στην καλλιτεχνική τους ενσωμάτωση. Το εργαστήριο, επίσης, παρουσιάζει τρόπους σκηνικής αξιοποίησης αυτών των τεχνολογιών σε εικονικά περιβάλλοντα, είτε για την ενίσχυση της παράστασης είτε ως αναπόσπαστο κομμάτι της καλλιτεχνικής δημιουργίας. Γενικότερα, στόχος του εργαστηρίου είναι η ενίσχυση, εξέλιξη και διεύρυνση της τέχνης του χορού και των συναφών πεδίων μέσα από τη χρήση καινοτόμων ψηφιακών εργαλείων. 🚀 Advancing Dementia Care with XR Technology! 🧠✨ We were thrilled to host a key meeting at CYENS Centre of Excellence, Nicosia, Cyprus for GaitXR – Enhancing Dementia Care: Integrating XR Technology for Gait Training and Mobility Improvement in Elderly Populations. This groundbreaking project is focused on developing an XR tool that will empower healthcare graduates and professionals to integrate gait training sessions into their daily practice, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for elderly individuals with mild dementia. Our partners—SOSU Østjylland (Denmark), KAYROS DIGITAL INNOVATION (Spain), and Anziani e Non Solo società cooperativa sociale(Italy)—joined us to collaborate on the next steps of this initiative. In addition to tool development, a key goal is to train healthcare professionals in XR technologies, equipping them with cutting-edge skills to improve patient care and boost employability in the healthcare sector. CYENSverse attempts, with the application of Virtual Reality technologies, to become a place that encourages an open discussion for the future of Nicosia that would highlight its multicultural past. While the CYENSverse aspired to host multiple and varied events this project is focused on developing a first proof of concept about a part of the Nicosia Buffer Zone which was recognized by Europa Nostra in 2013 as one the most endangered heritage sites in Europe because of its symbolic and historical significance, its authenticity and the cultural, social, and economic potential it represents. I enjoyed diving into the challenges of developing accurate real-time position tracking for cyclists and how this data, combined with advanced analytics, can unlock valuable insights for riders of all levels.
