A highlight of the event was an insightful session by Dr. Eleni Stavrou, Director of the MSc HRM program and Professor at the University of Cyprus, who explored the role of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) in understanding and enhancing engagement. Understanding team members’ MBTI profiles allows leaders to tailor their communication, feedback, and management strategies to individual needs. Last week, we had the privilege of training the staff of the Cyprus Police Aviation Unit on the critical topic of Peer Support. As professionals operating in high-pressure environments, the team at the Cyprus Police Aviation Unit plays a vital role in ensuring public safety, often under challenging and unpredictable conditions. Their work demands precision, resilience, and collaboration, making #PeerSupport an invaluable tool for maintaining mental wellbeing and fostering a supportive team culture. The training was delivered by our trainer, Solonas Demosthenous, a licensed Aviation Psychologist with extensive experience in the implementation of such programs. We successfully hosted the first 'Next Gen Leadership' event in collaboration with the University of Cyprus, this time on Employee Engagement. With over 40 participants from diverse industries, the event brought together professionals eager to enhance their leadership skills and foster workplace cultures where inclusivity thrives.
