🇺🇦 Our foundation is proud to support a groundbreaking mission to protect Ukrainian culture and heritage. Officially launched in Prague, the Ark I mobile safeguard vehicle will depart from the Czech Republic to Ukraine in January, targeting cultural sites at risk from the ongoing conflict.   👉 The scale of the crisis is immense. UNESCO reports over 400 damaged cultural sites, including 32 museums and 15 libraries vital to Ukrainian identity. The Ark I will carry restoration and digitization equipment, allowing specialists to preserve books and manuscripts.   🛠️ This mission is a collaboration between the Czech Ministry of Culture, the Ukrainian government, and private donors. 👉 Collaboration with KKCG Group and its companies at its finest. Thanks to Allwyn, Aricoma, KKCG Group, the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the European Union, and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Brussels, we brought world-class culture to the international stage. Together with Czech Centre Brussels, we organized a concert at Flagey Center.   👉 Our scholarship students and their Belgian peers performed, shining on stage. Vivi Nguyen, Nora Lubbadová, and Adam Znamirovský, along with Iris Keijzer, Mahault Ska, and Jannat Huseinzoda, truly impressed.   🎹 This first-rate event was preceded by three days of intensive training. Young Czech and Belgian talents received guidance from experienced instructors Jarmila Holcová, Ivo Kahánek, Daniel Blumenthal, and Bohuslavá Jelínková Çavuşoğlu. 🤍 Our heartfelt thanks to the young artists and partners for an unforgettable musical experience. ✔️ Yesterday we celebrated a significant milestone of Ark I. 👉 On the 23rd October 2024 in Prague, a Memorandum of Cooperation and a Donation Agreement was signed by National Library of the Czech Republic, Yaroslav Mudryi National Library of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Library Association.   ✍ The signing of the memorandum in the presence of Czech Minister of Culture Martin Baxa and Ukraine’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic Vasyl Zvarych, strengthens our partnership and commitment to preserving Ukraine’s cultural heritage, especially amidst ongoing conflict.   🤝 The signing of the agreement solidified the partnership on the Ark I – a mobile conservation unit. This unit was designed to protect Ukraine’s valuable written heritage, including rare books and archival documents from potential permanent damage from the war. 👉 We have provided financial support for Ark I to ensure the safety of Ukraine’s history. This collaborative effort highlights the power of international solidarity in preserving culture for future generations. 🇺🇦 We are helping to save Ukraine's cultural heritage from the war. 🇺🇦 We are a part of a unique initiative aimed at preserving cultural artifacts, as they have irreplaceable historical value. In collaboration with Ministerstvo kultury, Ukrainian Ministries of Culture, Národní knihovna České republiky, the National Museum of the Czech Republic, International Council of Museums (ICOM), and MND a.s., we support “ARK” project.   🚐 This project involves special mobile digitization units which are equipped with advanced technology. The devices monitor their environment autonomously, on top of that they can be controlled and tracked remotely. There will be a total of three “ARKS” and the first one is going into the field this year.    💛 💙 The "Extraordinary Aid" pillar of our organisation allowed us to provide an assistance to Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion. The theme of culture deeply resonates with our mission. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, we, along with our partners, have launched the "Dvořák Dreams" exhibition in Washington, D.C. 🤝 Through a fantastic collaboration with Allwyn and 0xCollection, this unique experience combines visual art and music, using artificial intelligence to bring Dvořák's life and work into a new dimension. 🇺🇸 Created by Refik Anadol Studio, "Dvořák Dreams" uses machine-processed data to craft monumental visuals that merge the digitized past with the future. 🇺🇸 Our foundation has been supporting the Kennedy Center for a long time as part of our Culture and Arts Education pillar. V rámci už 3. ročníku projektu Piana do škol usiluje 17 základních uměleckých škol právě teď o nový klavír nebo pianino. Průměrné stáří pian na českých ZUŠ je 47 let a chceme tuto situaci změnit. Je skvělé, že díky předchozím dvěma ročníkům Pian do škol se z nového nástroje mohou radovat děti v téměř 80 školách 🎶 Teď doufáme, že tento počet poroste. PETROF Pianos přispěl do sbírky 100.000 Kč na každý klavír a 60.000 Kč na každé pianino jako počáteční vklad. Srdečně vás zvu, abyste se k nám připojili a podpořili tento krásný projekt. Through our research in Czech Children Outdoors, we know, for instance, what parents think about outdoor activities. 📌 The fact that nearly 3/4 of parents agree with having outdoor lessons in all weather conditions made us realize something important. Parents can help us advocate for our environmental pillar. As part of this pillar, we transform preschool gardens and run campaigns to support outdoor education. ☝ Outdoor education benefits preschools in many ways. It improves concentration, strengthens relationships between students and teachers, and helps reduce stress. 📈 These numbers have delighted the people and organizations we collaborate with, such as Justina Danišová from Learning Outdoors (Učíme se venku), who said: "I find this figure incredibly motivating for all teachers who regularly take children outside."
