Yesterday, we unveiled "Dvořák Dreams" at the The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C., celebrating the legacy of Antonín Dvořák. We are thrilled to introduce the 0xCollection to a U.S. audience in collaboration with Refik Anadol Studio, demonstrating how digital art can push creative boundaries and enrich cultural heritage.   The Karel Komárek Family Foundation has proudly partnered with the Kennedy Center for nearly a decade and, with Allwyn's support, this unique experience is free and open to all until September 24th.

Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for the U.S. premiere of Dvořák Dreams. ✨      Refik Anadol’s breathtaking data sculpture transforms the music of Czech composer Antonín Dvořák into an extraordinary AI-powered multi-sensory experience. From 2021 to 2023, Anadol trained his signature algorithms on Dvořák’s music, original data, and other records from the Czech national archives. 0xCollection artist Nancy Baker Cahill’s 30-minute immersive film SEEK, debuted earlier this month at Cosm, Los Angeles. The project is Cahill’s most ambitious work to date, with expansive abstract land and soundscapes developing on the artist’s ongoing interest in human relationships with the environment.

Elle Anastasiou, 0xCollection’s Director, was interviewed by ARTnews on 0x’s collecting practice, the state of the #digitalart world, and more. “0xCollection was born out of a vision I shared with Karel Komárek on developing a canonical approach to collecting #newmedia work. The idea was that we would create a hybridized approach. So rather than taking a universal or a chronological approach, we would define and adopt a different curatorial theme each year, and we would find masterworks through the artistic canon, both from established artists and from newer, emerging artists who could elaborate on that theme.” Read the full interview:
