Our Baxter Israel team came together last week for a refreshing business breakfast to kick off discussions for our 2025 plans. Getting out of the office offered a perfect setting for us to focus on key business initiatives and exchange ideas on team-building activities for the coming year. Each team member presented an overview of their business plans for 2025, sparking great interest and engagement. Based on this, we’ll arrange further internal meetings where everyone can dive deeper into their objectives. It was valuable for colleagues in QA, RA, and other roles to see how their work aligns with the Commercial team’s goals, creating a stronger sense of connection across departments. We also explored volunteering opportunities and potential workshops to organize throughout the year. In light of current events in the country, it was especially meaningful to see everyone in person and connect on a personal level. On October 30-31, we had the pleasure of hosting an intensive PER sales training session in Prague, focused on building excellence in our team’s ability to better understand and meet our customers' needs with tailored Baxter solutions. 🌟 This session welcomed participants from across Czechia, Slovakia, Israel, and Hungary, representing our Nutrition, Advanced Surgery, and Anesthesia business units. The training covered: 🔹 Enhancing Sales Skills: Reinforcing our approach with customer-centric strategies. 🔹 Knowledge Sharing Across Borders: Exchanging best practices and insights across regions. 🔹 Role-Playing Scenarios: Practicing real-world sales situations to boost practical skills. 🌿💚 Our Goal: Protecting the Planet 💚🌿 Baxter always cares, that is why we aim to achieve carbon neutrality for our direct operations by 2040 and reduce our absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 25% by 2030. Our efforts are aligned with the well-below 2°C science-based target to combat climate change. In 2023, we made significant efforts by reducing our GHG emissions by 4.1% compared to 2022, and 4.6% compared to our 2020 baseline. Our energy-conservation projects as part of the Climate Action Roadmap are expected to cut GHG emissions by approximately 21,100 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, nearly doubling our reductions from 2022.
