🔔C&W HOTEL MARKET SPOTLIGHT - PARIS The sample of branded full-service hotels in Paris city centre recorded an increased profit during the 12 months running to September 2024. ⭐The GOP PAR grew by 6.6%, driven by 5.9% revenue growth and despite a rise of operating expenses (+5.4%). ⭐The Rooms revenue increased by 3.3% (RevPAR) driven by ADR growth (+2.1%), while occupancy increased only moderately to 76.4% (+1.1%). ⭐Despite the ongoing cost pressures, 44% of revenue growth flowed through to the bottom line, resulting in an increase of GOP margin from 38.8% to 39.1%. ⭐Supply growth remains constrained with some 1,500 rooms estimated to open throughout 2024, resulting in a 1.1% supply increase. 🏅 The Paris Summer Olympics had a notable positive impact on the hotel market. We are helping to shape the future leaders in hotel real estate! This week students from Glion Institute of Higher Education visited Prague for their feasibility project field-work as part of their finance specialization. Students met with the representatives of Penta Real Estate and visited their hotel under The Cloud One Hotels brand as well as their impressive Masaryčka Building, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. To understand the Prague's hospitality landscape, students visited several leading hotels such as Four Seasons Prague, Augustine, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Prague, Hilton Prague & Hilton Prague Old Town and newly opened W Prague. Finally, the students presented their projects to our hospitality team in Cushman & Wakefield's Prague office. It was an inspiring experience to see students to share their creative hotel concepts and strategic positioning ideas. Engaging with these bright minds not only supports their education but also helps us build lasting relationships that may evolve into future colleagues, clients, or partners.
