This is how ecosystems work! The CDTM Venture Fund, associated with Munich's Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM), has successfully raised €8.2 million from 316 alumni to support early-stage startups founded by CDTM graduates. Over the next four years, the fund plans to invest in approximately 60 such startups - indicating pre-seed investments of 50-100K EUR per investment. Notably, CDTM has a strong track record, with over 280 startups founded by its alumni, including nine unicorns like Personio and Trade Republic. Small steps towards the right direction... This initiative exemplifies the power of alumni networks in fostering entrepreneurial success as often seen in the US on a much bigger scale.
