Info

The Drugs and Development Hub (DDH) is a collaborative initiative launched in 2020 by the Global Partnership on Drug Policies and Development (GPDPD), the London School of Economics (LSE), and the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC). Managed by GPDPD of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), our mission is to bridge the gaps between drugs, development policies, and global drug policy with a focus on health, human rights, and development-oriented approaches. Our Core Activities: • Promotion for balanced and evidence-based discussions on drug policies • Facilitation of knowledge exchange among government representatives, academics, and activists • Supporting research and providing analytical insights into drug policy • Increasing the visibility of innovative approaches in the intersection of drug and development policies Our Vision: We envision fostering a dynamic and inclusive dialogue on drug policy, engaging government officials, academics, and activists. Emphasizing evidence-based approaches and innovative development initiatives, our goal is to effectively address drug-related challenges. Through this collaborative effort, we aim to contribute to the creation of a more equitable and sustainable global society.
