Der Fashion Council Germany e. V. ist die zentrale Interessenvertretung der deutschen Modebranche. Ziel ist es, deutsches Modedesign als Kultur- und Wirtschaftsgut zu fördern und zu etablieren, wie es in Ländern wie Frankreich oder Großbritannien bereits seit vielen Jahren selbstverständlich ist. Erreicht wird das durch eine gezielte Förderung des Designnachwuchses aus Deutschland, die gemeinsame Steuerung der nationalen Aktivitäten und die Stärkung der Wahrnehmung deutschen Designs im In- und Ausland.
