🚚 Happy Friday! Today we’re highlighting a recent transport by our F.H. Bertling Logistics offices in 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲, 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻, and 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗶. Our 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 successfully transported separators from 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗽 to 𝗧𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗷𝗶𝗻, with the heaviest piece weighing 𝟮𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝘀. The operation wasn’t without its challenges. Road permit applications caused delays and a temporary lock closure required re-routing through France. But thanks to careful planning, the equipment reached Antwerpen in time for the heavy lift vessel's laycan. To kick off the Lunar New Year, our F.H. Bertling Logistics team in 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮, representing 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗷𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗪𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗻, 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘇𝗵𝗼𝘂, and beyond, came together in Shanghai for an evening of celebration. The evening began with a warm welcome and a dinner, during which we enjoyed good food and great company. Afterward, we had some team-building activities to strengthen collaboration and connections within the team. 🚛 On this week's 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, we’re highlighting a recent transport by our F.H. Bertling Logistics 𝗨𝗞 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀. Our 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 successfully transported a 𝟭𝟳𝟬𝗧𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 from Antwerp to Ramsgate Royal Harbour. Bertling’s scope included 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘆𝘀, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, and seamless coordination with the client, vendor, manufacturer, and site owner. Key challenges included determining port constraints, conducting route and site surveys, and planning for a tight offloading window due to draft and tide restrictions. With the support of our technical engineering drawings and comprehensive RAMS documentation, we ensured flawless execution.
