The GUITAR SUMMIT is an independent event of Germany's popular magazine "Gitarre & Bass" with a 100% focus on guitars, basses, amps, effects and everything that goes with them. With its extensive WORKSHOP programme, exciting live concerts featuring top international artists and a huge EXHIBITION featuring all the leading brands in the guitar world, the GUITAR SUMMIT is the biggest show of its kind in Europe. More than 100 workshops and clinics cover a wide range of topics for beginners or professional players ranging from playing techniques to songwriting and recording, purchasing guides, technical advice and self-promotion tips. For those who want to dive even deeper, the GUITAR SUMMIT offers exclusive masterclasses with renowned tutors with various topics. In the D.I.Y. AREA people can build their own tube amps or effects pedals under professional instruction and guidance. Highlight of the GUITAR SUMMIT, however, are the concerts in the Mozartsaal on Friday and Saturday night. The "Friday & Saturday Night in Concert" shows offer furious jam sessions and exciting concerts with world-class musicians, who will electrify the visitors into total guitar ecstasy. With more than 500 brands, the GUITAR SUMMIT brings together all the big names in the guitar industry. The list of exhibitors ranges from well-known and legendary manufacturers to small custom shops and many renowned guitar builders, who provide an unprecedented range of products and a comprehensive overview of the market on the four floors of the Rosengarten. The GUITAR SUMMIT is the place to meet passionate amateur and professional musicians, music enthusiasts, fans, manufacturers, guitar builders and distributors and offers the perfect atmosphere for lively geartalk among like-minded people.
