🌍 With their growing talent pool of developers, engineers, designers, and entrepreneurs, business-friendly environments and solid digital infrastructures, countries like Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Rwanda, or Tunisia have positioned themselves as top-tier outsourcing hubs for IT and business services. 🎯 What makes Africa special for the Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sectors? What advice can one offer companies as they prepare to enter the African market? These are among the questions addressed at the “Bridging Markets: German-African IT & BPO Summit”, which we organise on 2 December in Nairobi, Kenya, together with International Digital Dialogues and Afrika-Verein der deutschen Wirtschaft (German - African Business Association). 🚀 This pre-event leading to the 5th German-African Business Summit (GABS) 2024 offers valuable networking opportunities for German, African and international ITO/BPO companies. Attendees will engage with industry leaders, explore new business avenues and gain insights into the potential of the dynamic ITO/BPO markets the African continent has to offer. 🔓 Keynotes by Mark Angus and Volker Maiborn on opportunities, challenges, and best strategies for BPO 📈 Panel discussion with Martin Roe, Ethel Cofie, Christian Ruckteschler, Stefanie Simon, and Alay Aridhi 📣Register now: https://lnkd.in/eWbqtbQu - you'll find the agenda there, too.

🌍 We are proud to support DSAA e. V. and Business Outsourcing Services Association, Ghana (BOSAG) at the ABSL European Forum in Porto. African countries are increasingly becoming key destinations for outsourcing digital services, offering immense potential for job creation. Together, we're helping businesses tap into Africa's talented workforce and overcome investment challenges. #InvestforJobs
What a great kick-off at ABSL Forum in Porto 🇵🇹 Amazing insights and meetups - presenting and discussing the GBS opportunities the African continent has to offer together with Business Outsourcing Services Association, Ghana (BOSAG) and DSAA e. V. 💥 The highlight of the day was definitely the panel on global location strategies where DSAA e. V. board member Martin Hecker highlighted the relevance of African talent for clients in Europe💪 Some of the main takeaways were: 🧍The most decisive factor for new location is the availability of talent, much more relevant than tax incentives & government regulations. 🤖 AI will not shrink the need for new talent but rather increase the need for continuous upskilling of the workforce; especially African talent brings this hunger for innovation. 🌍 Diversification of locations becomes more and more important in today's volatile world - therefore Africa will become more relevant as Europe's neighbour continent with huge potential, while also diversification within Europe remains important. Even better that Invest for Jobs – Sonderinitiative „Gute Beschäftigung für sozial gerechten Wandel“ is all about talent development on the African continent 😀 Jointly with the DSAA e. V. and its members, we develop the skills needed in today's GBS world. Let me know if you want to hear more! 😊 Sabine Klasen Eva Lena Richter, Ph.D. DAVID GOWU Simon Hochstein Pawel Panczyj Derek Smith #investforjobs #dsaa #gbsafrica
