On this International Day Against Violence Against Women, we want to shine a light on two incredible women in our kollektiv community, Sogol K. Kordi and Natascha Djordjevic, while also standing with everyone who has faced violence—those who’ve found the courage to share their stories and those who haven’t yet. 🔥Sogol K. Kordi – Founder of MyProtectify Sogol is a survivor of a four-year abusive relationship that put her through unimaginable challenges. Determined to turn her pain into purpose, she started MyProtectify, a platform that provides discreet, accessible support to people experiencing domestic violence. Her mission is to empower others and let them know they’re not alone. Sogol shared her journey at Kontakt Kollektiv’s Female* Leadership Circle, hosting the session “Domestic Violence – The Sun Always Shines: The Stories of Resilience.” She opened up about her own story and how her mother’s beautiful philosophy—“For every problem, there are 10 solutions”—has guided her in facing life’s adversities. 🔥Natascha Djordjevic – DJ, Somatic Coach, and Advocate Natascha has used her experience with sexual abuse to drive her mission of breaking the stigma around it. As a DJ and somatic coach, she’s passionate about creating spaces where people can talk about tough topics like healing and resilience without fear of judgment. At Kontakt Kollektiv’s Female* Leadership Circle, Natascha hosted a powerful session - “Sexual Harassment – Breaking the Stigma: Normalizing Difficult Conversations.” It was one of the few public events in Hamburg to openly address the issue of sexual harassment. Natascha’s session helped participants find the right vocabulary and provided actionable steps for both individuals and workplaces to foster safer, more inclusive environments. Today, we celebrate the courage of Sogol, Natascha, and everyone who has found their voice to speak up. And for those who haven’t yet, we want you to know that your journey matters too, and you’re never alone. ✨ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗸𝘁𝗶𝘃 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁? ✨ At yesterday’s Female* Leadership Circle, open for the first time to all gender identities, something truly special unfolded. Together, we co-created a space where we could dive into the less-discussed topics, listen with care and respect, and connect in ways that felt authentic and meaningful. 🤝 Our special guests, Sandra Winterbach and Natascha Djordjevic—previous F*LC hosts—shared their personal journeys of courage, growth, and self-discovery in the conversation hosted by our Founder Natalia Bialobrzewska. 🌟 Sandra reflected, “𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘻𝘺, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘺,” inspiring us to rethink our own paths. And as Natascha summed up beautifully, “𝘞𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺.” Moments like these remind us why these events matter: they’re about fostering understanding, exchanging ideas, and leaving with a sense that together, we can create the communities of belonging.
